Guy William Molnar holds a Master of Fine Arts in acting from the University of South Carolina and spent a year at The Shakespeare Theatre in Washington DC. He has performed and/or directed around the country at The Shakespeare Theatre Company, Riverside Shakespeare, the Arizona Theatre Company, Michigan Ensemble Theatre, Interlochen Center for the Arts, and the Utah Shakespearean Festival, among others. He is a Designated Linklater Voice Teacher.

Previously he taught acting, directing, voice, and Shakespeare at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, Florida State University, The North Carolina School of the Arts, the Conservatory of Theatre at Webster University, and the Interlochen Center for the Arts. He adjudicates and presents Master Classes yearly at the Utah Shakespearean Festival’s annual Shakespeare competition, and has presented Master Classes in acting and directing Shakespeare at the O'Neill Theatre Center in Connecticut.

Favorite experiences as a director have included Twelfth Night, Romeo and Juliet, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Much Ado About Nothing, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Les Liaisons Dangereuses, among others.  Favorite roles have included Leontes in The Winter's Tale, Benedick in Much Ado, Archibald Craven in The Secret Garden, Caius Lucius in Cymbeline, Duke Frederick in As You Like It, The Duke/Dr. Carrasco in Man of La Mancha, Edward the Sergeant of Police in The Pirates of Penzance, Larkin in Six Degrees of Separation, Bernard in Arcadia, and Judge Turpin in Sweeney Todd, among others.

He is active in MICHA, the Michael Chekhov Association, and serves as an Officer and Member of the Board of Directors of VASTA, the Voice And Speech Trainers' Association. As Editor of the VASTA Voice, he has published articles of his own as well as edited and published works by Jose Rivera, Arthur Lessac, and Kristin Linklater, among others.

A musician as well as an actor and director, he holds a Master of Music in piano performance from Winthrop University, and is a proud member of Actors' Equity Association.
