If you have a serious passion for musical theatre, our bachelor of arts degree will be the catalyst you need to launch your career. With a rigorous, professional program model, we give you not only an intense performance oriented program that focuses on the “triple threat” disciplines of acting, singing, and dancing, but also a practical and marketable skill set that includes advanced knowledge of theory, criticism, history, literature and production design.
Like most of our students here, you will find the many performance opportunities invaluable to your education. The Department of Theatre produces more than a dozen works a year in various venues. A full mainstage season, student-produced second stage season, choreography showcase, musical theatre ensemble, improv comedy troupe, and cabarets are just a few of the performing outlets you will find here to cultivate and refine your craft.
Theatre expands well beyond the borders of our community. With a solid commitment to global performance traditions we also offer an array of national and international theatre experiences offered through coursework and exchange programs in New York, London, and Moscow, among others. |

Like so many of our graduates, you will be prepared to embark on an exciting career that may land you in national and/or international tours, regional theatre, film and television, and yes…even a Broadway show!
We invite you to come and be a part of this exciting company. |
