Coastal Carolina University offers a variety of scholarships (merit-based and talent-based). Admitted students are automatically considered for merit-based awards.   The department awards a variety of talent-based scholarships that require an audition and/or interview.  These scholarships are available to any student who majors in Theatre or Musical Theatre.  There are a limited number of awards available, and the award is competitive.  Students who submit an application for admission by January 15, 2009 will receive priority consideration for the university's merit scholarships.  Specific criteria for each award are listed throughout the Scholarship Opportunities Brochure.

The Scholarship Opportunities Brochure contains information on all of Coastal's scholarships for the 2009-2010 academic year. To apply for scholarships as a new or continuing student you must be admitted to Coastal Carolina University and submit the completed Undergraduate Scholarship Application by March 1, 2007.  Applicants of these application-based scholarships will be notified by May 1 regarding the results of their application.   Students who are awarded talent-based scholarships will be informed of their acceptance and scholarship award by official letter.
