Welcome to Coastal Carolina University! 

The new University College is designed to assist first-year students in their successful transition from high school to college.  We recognize that the move from high school to college can be challenging. 

We are excited you’ve accepted the challenge.  Here is how we will support you in this endeavor:

• Professional academic advising and peer mentoring
• UNIV 110, a course designed to develop critical thinking and research skills, provide community support during the first semester of enrollment, and acquaint you with available resources
• Academic support through our learning centers and structured learning assistance

Your first year will be an exciting and demanding time.  You will be expected to think for yourself, make some big decisions, and ask some tough questions. 

We look forward to seeing you this summer when you arrive for orientation and in the fall!
