Welcome!

Special Events falls under the leadership of the Associate Vice President for University Relations and is responsible for programming University-wide events to enrich our community. This includes events that reach out to our external stakeholders and also events that celebrate the accomplishments of our faculty, staff and students.

Celebration of Inquiry, Commencement, Family Weekend, Founders Day, Homecoming, Honors Convocation, Humanities Gala, and Senior Celebration are just a few of the activities coordinated by Special Events that showcase Coastal Carolina University as a premier undergraduate institution united by an exceptional faculty and staff, outstanding alumni, wonderful community friends and, most importantly, truly exceptional students who are our leaders of tomorrow.
