WELCOME!

The mission of the Office of Special Events is to highlight Coastal Carolina University as a premier institution by planning and directing functions that showcase the accomplishments of students, foster alumni affinity, recognize faculty and staff, and honor and develop friends and supporters. The Office of Special Events also organizes and manages events for the Office of the President and assists in advancing the many charitable causes supported by the University. The Office of Special Events also coordinates Commencements, Family Weekend, Founders Day, the Family Picnic, and other major events of the University, and provides guidance for events hosted and/or sponsored by divisions throughout the University.
