The mission of the Office of University Relations is twofold: first, to enhance the financial and political support for the institution by nurturing partnerships with a variety of local, statewide, regional and national constituencies and, secondly, to ensure the University achieves excellence through continuous self-improvement in the coordination of strategic and long range planning. University Relations directs the planning, coordination and execution of both on-campus and off-campus University-sponsored special events, academic special events and cultural programs, and aids in the promotion of affinity and stewardship within the University and greater community.
