The Writing Center often conducts workshops on specific topics. Some of these workshops are requested by professors to assist students in specific courses, and some are designed by the Writing Center and intended for students in any course. Both types of workshops are open to all students on campus. Just look closely at the workshop title before you decide to come to make sure that the workshop you are attending is the one you want.
Attendance is limited in each workshop, so it is important to call ahead to reserve a spot. The Writing Center's phone number is 843-349-2937. Walk-ins are also welcome, but if the workshop is already at capacity, you will be asked to return to a future workshop on the same topic (if one is scheduled).
If you are a CCU faculty member and would like the Writing Center to conduct a workshop on a specific topic, please contact Scott Pleasant (Writing Center Coordinator) at 843-349-4154 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
