Assistant Professor, Early Childhood Education
Kimberly L. Carroll obtained a Doctorate of Education in Elementary Education with a specialization in science inquiry from the University of Mississippi in 2011. She has presented at The National Science Teachers Conference, published three articles focusing on green living practices, and wrote several grants to fund science labs for young students. Dr. Carroll won a national writing award for her article on hydroponics from the Association of Educational Publishers. Most recently Dr. Carroll has been working on a research team at CCU studying the four year old literacy acquisition and improving the internship for interns. Dr. Carroll is currently an Assistant Professor of Early Childhood Education in the Spadoni College of Education. She resides in Conway, SC with her husband Tim, and three children.
Dr. Carroll is a first generation high school and college graduate.
