Melony Allen, Ph.D.
Visiting Assistant Professor
Melony Allen earned both her Ph.D. in Teacher Education and Development with an emphasis on Science Education and Master's of School Administration (NC K-12 Principal’s License) degrees from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Dr. Allen has held a variety of roles in public education including: 4th and 5th grades Classroom Teacher; Pk-5 Technology Teacher; 2nd-5th grades Interventionist; Pk-5 Academic Coach; Pk-5 Math Coach; and Assistant Principal. Her scholarship examines the intersection of teachers’ visions and adaptive teaching.
