Biography

Frederick Wood received his B.A. and M.A. from the University at Albany, SUNY and his Ph.D. from Michigan State University.  While at MSU, Frederick was a research assistant on the State Supreme Court Data Project sponsored by the National Science Foundation.  Frederick's research interests concern the interrelationship between society and the law and the effect of mass-elite linkages on policy outcomes.  Currently, he is working on a project analyzing television advertising in state supreme court election campaigns.  He has served as an instructor at Skidmore College, Siena College, the University at Albany, Michigan State University, and Western Michigan University prior to coming to CCU in August 2008.

Interesting Facts
