Biography
For 26 years, Sharon Tutrone has devoted her time to the newsroom as a producer and executive producer. She has worked her way up from editor, to producer and most recently Executive Producer for WPDE ABC 15. She has worked in several markets, including New York, Palm Springs, Reno, Las Vegas and most recently Myrtle Beach. Sharon decided it was time to hang up her news hat and teach the next generation of journalists. Sharon graduated as valedictorian of her Master of Arts new media journalism program from Full Sail University and completed her undergrad in journalism and media studies from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. When she is not teaching journalism classes you can find her teaching fitness classes at the HTC Center on campus. Sharon absolutely loves what she does. Teaching is so rewarding and she is so glad she answered the calling and looks forward to many wonderful years at Teal Nation.
