My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style." - Maya Angelou

Raised in the small, small town of Bishopville, S.C., Kenneth Lewis is a former English teacher and mentor who has worked with young children, adolescents, and adults to combat issues surrounding literacy and underprepared teens transitioning into the real world. Kenneth enjoys reading and offering assistance to anyone in need. A lover of language, Kenneth can be found reading, perfecting verse, or deep in a Toni Morrison novel where he steadily repeats and rereads the lines that he finds most interesting and beautiful. He is a huge fan of the arts and because this is so Kenneth travels to vibrant cities where he frequents the art museums, jazz festivals, and enjoys the local cuisines. On a typical weekend though, Kenneth gets the biggest thrill from going to the theatre and checking out the latest movie releases.
