Biography
Shu-Chien Yang recently arrived at CCU after having taught Mandarin in Nicaragua for three years. Originally from Taiwan, Shu-Chien Yang completed her B.A. in Italian and Japanese in the United Kingdom. She was trained to become a Mandarin teacher after attending an intensive teacher training course at Washington University in St. Louis in 2017. Before becoming a teacher, she was working as an international sales person in a wide range of field, petrochemical, medical and motorbike industry. She has lived in the UK, Japan, Italy, the US and Nicaragua and speaks five languages. Her goal is to make learning Mandarin fun and pleasant for everyone.
