Staff Piano Accompanist
Rebecca Rollins holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from Furman University, where she studied under Ruby Morgan. While at Furman, she was chosen as winner of the Furman Concerto Competition, as well as the Gardner Webb Community Orchestra Concerto Competition. She also played violin in the Furman Symphony Orchestra and sang with the Furman Singers.
Rebecca was awarded a full Graduate Assistantship in piano from the University of Oklahoma, where she earned a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy. Her principal teachers were Jane Magrath and E.L. Lancaster. While at the University of Oklahoma, Rebecca was one of seven piano graduate students chosen nationally to receive the D.H. Baldwin Fellowship, an award for excellence in piano teaching.
After graduating, she taught at Coker College as Director of the Preparatory School of Music. She has served as Coastal Carolina's full time staff piano accompanist since 2008, playing piano for Chamber and Concert Choirs, as well as the instrumental and vocal studios. Rebecca and her husband, Raymond, have three children.
