Clifford Sosis grew up in Spring Glen, N.Y., and went to Ithaca College in 2000. In 2004, he attended Florida State University, where he studied ethics, philosophy of mind/psychology/science, epistemology and metaphilosophy. He wrote a dissertation examining the good life from a non-traditional perspective, focusing on the philosophy and psychology of well-being. He received his Ph.D. Fall, 2011 after which he spent a year teaching full-time at Mississippi State University. Sosis is currently a lecturer in philosophy at Coastal Carolina University.
