Biography
Blair Niece received his Ph.D. in political science from the University of Illinois in 2017. His primary areas of research are international cooperation on financial agreements, and political risks to financial markets. Blair’s current book project explores how cooperation between nations deteriorates for international financial rules. Before starting his Ph.D., Blair received a Master’s Degree in financial economics from Ohio University, a Master’s degree in political science at Ohio University, and a B.A. in international relations from Shawnee State University.

Blair grew up on a small farm in southern Ohio. In his spare time, he used to repair tractors, help train horses, and build horse fences.
