Min Ye joined CCU in 2007 and now is a Professor in the Department of Politics at Coastal Carolina University. He received his B.A. in Economics from Renmin University of China (Beijing) and M.A. in International Studies from Foreign Affairs University of China (Beijing). He earned his Ph.D. in Political Science at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. His dissertation is an examination of international crises using formal bargaining models.
His research interests include international conflict and crises, foreign policy analysis (FPA), East Asian politics, and formal theory. He is the author or co-author of articles published in International interactions, Studies of Conflict and Terrorism, Korean Journal of Social Science, Journal of Political Science Education, Journal of Political Science, Korea Observer, Pacific Focus, Foreign Policy Analysis, and Journal of Asian and African Studies.
