Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Being willing is not enough; we must do." - Leonardo DaVinci

Alicia F. Snead is a teaching associate in the department of visual arts at Coastal Carolina University. She received an M.A. and B.F.A. with honors from The Savannah College of Art and Design. She is also an alumna of Coastal Carolina where she earned a B.A. in art studio with foundational studies in fine art. Her teaching experience is in graphic design studio courses and the history of graphic design. Professional experience includes editorial design for Ocean magazine, creative services and marketing for Grove Landscapes, and production design for several of the areas children’s theaters. This one on one collaboration with local theaters not only involves contributions in fine art, graphic design, props, costuming, and set design but serves as a platform for creating community. As a multidisciplinary designer Alicia strives to inspire students with a wide-range of creativity, to guide, and instill confidence. This is a philosophy she practices to motivate students on how to embrace and lead change. In 2018, she established Eden Love & Co, an entrepreneurial design based company, where she currently serves as CEO and creative director.
