Ellen Lytle (Eichler) is a Visiting Assistant Professor in Graphic Design. She is the author of a bestselling book, Click, The Brightest in Computer-generated Design and Illustration, which was selected by the Graphic Designers’ Book Club as Alternative Selection of the Month. Her research agenda focuses on systems in design and she is writing a dictionary on the subject. She is a practicing designer with a track record of award-winning marketing communications (copywriting and design) for B2C, B2B and NGO clients. Her design work has appeared in major design annuals. An expert in design thinking as applied to innovation and creative clusters, Ellen Lytle is the only designer in history to be the Director of a major think tank, The Medici Center in Atlanta. She has significant expertise in nonprofit management, strategy, operations, membership and governance. Extremely active in charitable causes, she was the nation’s leading fundraiser for five years for the U.S. Marine Corps’ Toys ‘4’ Tots.
