Before transitioning full-time to academia, she held multiple management positions in the information technology field including the web manager for her university. Dr. French is also highly-trained in assessment and is an ABET IDEAL Scholar. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Geosciences from Boston College (1995), an MBA from the University of Massachusetts / Boston (2000), and a Ph.D. in Computer Information Systems from Nova Southeastern University (2011). She also earned a Graduate Certificate in Information Assurance: Administration in Information Security from Nova Southeastern University while studying her Ph.D. She is a member of Upsilon Pi Epsilon, the academic honor society of the Association for Computer Machinery. She is published in the fields of computer information systems for both pedagogy and field research.
