Facilities Operations Division

The Facilities Operations division is dedicated to providing a quality environment for the students, faculty and staff at Coastal Carolina University. They are responsible for addressing routine and daily maintenance calls and online maintenance requests.  Our services are tailored to meet the changing needs of those who occupy a wide variety of facility types ranging from administrative offices, classrooms, labs, hallways, restrooms and athletic facilities. We make every effort to provide the best service possible to meet the specific needs and requirements of our customers.

The operations department maintains the buildings and grounds of Coastal Carolina University on main campus and east campus located in Conway, SC and three off campus sites in Myrtle Beach, Litchfield and Georgetown, SC. The department is staffed with approximately 105 skilled personnel divided into specialized shops, including custodial services, university grounds services, community events and moving services and equipment repair services, pest control and facilities supplies under the direction of Buddy Hendrick, director, Facilities Operations.
