- Housing: Room rates vary depending upon whether or not you live on-campus or off-campus and whether you live alone or share housing with others.
- Meals: Food may be purchased at the University dining facilities, or you may choose to prepare your own food if you have cooking facilities.
- Books: Books and educational supplies are estimated for the academic year. If you are attending summer school, book expenses will be higher.
- Other Living Expenses: Estimated expenses include student health insurance, routine medical costs, clothing, laundry, recreation, and local transportation.

***Any person requiring a student visa from Coastal Carolina University must submit evidence of financial resources greater than or equal to the total annual estimated cost for one academic year of study here. If a student cannot provide a personal bank statement showing the required amount, the student must also have his or her sponsor submit a signed letter or affidavit of support indicating the sponsor’s intent to financially support the student. Admissions decisions are made independently of the financial certification information. Students may submit the financial certification form either with their admissions application, or at a later date. The Confidential Financial Statement must be received before we can issue you an I-20 or mail your acceptance packet.
