Scholarships and Tuition

International students are not eligible to receive federal financial aid, however they are eligible for consideration of international merit-based scholarships. There are no separate application process to be considered. International students are automatically considered for University merit-based awards, following acceptance to CCU. In addition to merit-based scholarships awarded by our university, there are other external scholarships that you are eligible for. To see other scholarships in addition to our merit based scholarships seen below, please visit the University’s Scholarship page.

  • New, incoming international freshmen undergraduate students are eligible for consideration.
  • Students are eligible to receive only one award from the merit-based award program. This includes the VPA Merit-based and PGM Merit-based Awards. The Honors Program invitation is not considered a merit-based award.

When reviewing the requirements please note:

  • All references to SAT scores refer to the combined critical reading and math sections only. The third, ‘writing section’, is not calculated
  • All references to ACT scores refer to the composite score from a single test date.
  • All references to TOEFL scores refer to the total score.
  • For freshman awards, the cumulative weighted high school GPA as reported on the student’s high school transcript will be used to determine eligibility.
  • For transfer awards, the cumulative collegiate GPA, which includes all college coursework, not just which earned from the last institution attended, will be used to determine eligibility.

The initial awarding process will begin in November of each year. Eligible students will be notified with an official offer letter sent via U.S. mail.

Students must be admitted to CCU by the following priority deadlines to ensure consideration:

  • Fall applicants must be admitted by the priority deadlines of January 1, March 1, or June 1 as described below.
