Logo for RaiseMe page

Coastal Carolina University has partnered with RaiseMe to offer micro-scholarships to eligible students for academic and extracurricular achievements throughout high school. As early as 9th grade, students can create a RaiseMe portfolio and begin adding achievements to earn micro-scholarships. To start earning micro-scholarships, the student must join RaiseMe, then add and update course grades, clubs and sport involvement, volunteer activities, etc.

To be eligible to receive these micro-scholarships when enrolling in CCU, the student must be prospective full-time students, a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, and live in United States, Palau, The Marshall Islands or The Federated States of Micronesia. Additionally, the student must have earned a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.2, complete at least 15 credits towards high school graduation requirements at the time of submission, and submit their portfolio via the RaiseMe platform by CCU’s application and earnings deadline of Nov. 1 prior to the first enrolled semester.

Students participating in the Academic Common Market are not eligible to receive RaiseMe earnings from CCU. NCAA Division 1 athletes may also be restricted from receiving RaiseMe earnings due to merit criteria compliance regulations.
