Justification For Request

What research has led to this request?

The MALS Coordinator, in consultation with the MALS Faculty Advisory Council, wishes to make this and other MALS classes available more broadly to graduate students at CCU. With a plan to market the class across disciplines and with an eye to eventual creation of new certificate programs, we believe this prerequisite change will contribute to increased course enrollment.

What impact will this request have on existing academic programs?

It provides an additional option to other programs whose students may need additional training in writing, documentation, and presentation.

What financial costs are associated with this request?

None, the class is already taught once per year and we will continue this in the future.
