Justification For Request

What research has led to this request?

The WCOB Office of Graduate Program conducted a review of 199 students who completed the MBA program from 2018-2021 to understand the effects of the COVID-19 GMAT waiver policy. The GMAT was not predictive of GPA performance in the MBA program. We also reviewed peer and aspirant institution GMAT waiver policies. This adjustment to the catalog removes the GMAT requirement.

What impact will this request have on existing academic programs?

We expect this change will allow more CCU undergraduate students to matriculate to a graduate degree.

What financial costs are associated with this request?

No

If NO change in cost is anticipated, how is this possible?

This is an admissions requirement change. If anything, the net impact for the University should be an increase in tuition revenue as more students are able to access the program.
