American Australian Association Scholarship

There are three scholarships available that have a mission of building enduring connections where culture, commerce and community come together to open the door to boundless possibility.

The Graduate Education Fund provides up to $40,000 to individuals undertaking or planning to undertake full-time graduate level study at an accredited educational institution in Australia.

The Arts Fund provides up to $5,000 to emerging or early career artists undertaking or planning to undertake artistic development in Australia. Supports artists in the fields of theatre, film, television, dance, music, visual arts, design, literature, photography and fashion.

The Veterans’ Fund provides up to $40,000 to American Veterans undertaking or planning to undertake full-time undergraduate or graduate level study in any disciplinary field, at an accredited educational institution in Australia.

American-Scandinavian Foundation

Open to graduate students, PhD students

Discipline: Arts and Humanities, Business, Education and Social Sciences, Health and Human Performance, Sciences, Women's & Gender Studies and Sustainability

Offers year-long fellowships of up to $23,000 and short term (1-3 months) fellowships of up to $5,000 to graduate students (preferably conducting dissertation research) and academic professionals interested in pursuing research or creative-arts projects in the Nordic region (Denmark, Greenland, Faroe Islands, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sámpi, and Sweden).

Amgen Scholars Program (U.S. and Asia)

Open to 2nd year and 3rd year students

Funded summer research opportunity in the lab alongside top faculty; participate in seminars, networking events, and symposia with peers and leading scientists. (US) Must be US citizens or permanent residents with a GPA of 3.2 or higher. Must be enrolled in a university in the US, (ASIA) Must be enrolled in college.

Asian and Pacific Islander American Scholarship Program

Open to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year students

Special Considerations: Permanent Residency

Open to Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander undergraduate students attending any U.S. accredited university or college. Scholarships range from $2,500 one-year awards to $20,000 multi-year awards. APIA Scholars has a special focus on supporting AANHPI students who live at or below the poverty line; are in the first generation of their family to attend college; are representative of the APIA community’s diversity, (geographically and ethnically), especially those ethnicities that have been underrepresented on college campuses due to limited access and opportunity. Strong applicants would also have an emphasis on community service and leadership. Minimum GPA requirement of 2.7 and must apply for FAFSA for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship

Open to 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year students

Bill Emerson National Hunger Fellowship

Open to 4th year students and beyond

Discipline: Arts and Humanities, Business, Education and Social Sciences, Health and Human Performance, Sciences, Women's & Gender Studies and Sustainability

Special Considerations: Permanent Residency

11-month fellowship to develop a deep understanding of effective solutions to hunger and poverty, and their own roles in achieving Zero Hunger in the United States. Emerson Fellows have worked at placements in 47 states plus Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia. Past placements have included food banks, advocacy organizations, food policy councils, local and regional government agencies, and more.

Boren Awards

Open to 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year students (Boren Fellowships open to graduate students)
