Joe Oestreich and his wife Kate Faber Oestreich welcomed their son Beckett on Sept. 9, 2009. He weighed in at 7 pounds, 13 ounces and measured 20 inches long. Mom and Dad are reportedly "tired, but good." Joe is teaching this semester, and Kate started back teaching Fall II semester. Both are in the Department of English.
