CCU graduate runs successfully for Spartanburg School Board
CCU alumna Julie Hysong, now Julie Lonon, recently ran for the Spartanburg School Board and won her seat with a large majority. Julie earned a degree in political science here at CCU, earned a master's degree in political science at USC and then came back to Coastal for a semester to teach Political Science 101. She is married to Josh Lonon, a lawyer (who also managed her campaign, and they have two children.
