Collin teaches in Galapagos

Richard Collin, distinguished professor emeritus, is teaching a three-week course on the politics of the environment at the Universidad San Francisco de Quito in Ecuador. "They have a one-semester 15-credit program involving five courses taught in three-week segments," reports Collin. "The students are terrifyingly bright, and most of them are North Americans. I have a class of 12 students, all of them young women, and I've just finished my second class. The university has arranged for us to eat three meals a day together, so we're getting to know each other well."
