Marine science sophomores bring home awards from conference in Florida

Three marine science majors at Coastal Carolina University - all sophomores - won awards at the Southeastern Estuarine Research Society (SEERS) conference in St. Augustine, Fla., on March 8-10.
Bailey Harding won Best Undergraduate Oral Presentation for her presentation, "Sand compaction and ghost crab burrows: An analysis of morphology and volume."

Logan Masterson and Emeline Ward tied for Best Undergraduate Poster Presentation, for their presentations, "Ontongenetic changes in ghost crab behavior: size and gender effects," and "Histological analysis of limb bud development during regeneration in fiddler crabs," respectively.
