Keiner named associate director, dean of honors program

Louis Keiner, Ph.D., has been named to the position of associate dean/director of honors. He was selected from a pool of highly qualified candidates by a search committee consisting of faculty from all five colleges.

“We are excited that he will be joining our leadership team working toward the launch of the Honors College and Center for Interdisciplinary Studies in Fall 2019,” said Sara Hottinger, dean of University College.

Keiner has extensive experience in program development and administration. He served as the founding director of the Center for Effective Teaching and Learning (now CeTEAL) from 2004-2010 and as chair of chemistry and physics from 2008-2011. Keiner’s interdisciplinary research and teaching and his commitment to experiential learning will only enhance efforts to create an innovative and collaborative honors college at CCU.
