Moodle upgrade coming this summer

The Coastal Office of Online Learning (COOL) has announced that the campuswide Learning Management System, Moodle, will be upgraded this summer to version 3.2. The upgrade will provide several enhancements and functionality for students, faculty and staff. The upgrade will be completed in two phases:

• First phase: LearnMoodle will be upgraded in June. LearnMoodle is the Moodle site that contains all miscellaneous resource, COOL and CeTEAL courses.

• Second phase: Moodle2018 will be upgraded in August after the completion of Summer II classes and grading. Moodle2018 contains all of the 2018 academic courses.

Be on the lookout for emails this summer containing more detailed information about the upgraded features, benefits and timeline, along with training opportunities.
