Feel the Teal 5-Year Celebration

It is time for us to celebrate the outstanding service excellence we’ve experienced and continue to experience here at Teal Nation. We have seen tremendous growth since the Feel the Teal initiative began in 2013. The progress that employees have made in customer service over the past five years is outstanding. When we set out to enhance our culture of service excellence, we had one primary objective: to make certain that everyone who interacts with Coastal Carolina University in any way, whether a student, a member of the general public or CCU employees, receives treatment with care, courtesy and respect. Our employees have done just that! Coastal Carolina University is a campus and a community that is welcoming to all guests and continues to promote an environment where the success of others comes first.

In an effort to celebrate the growth of service on our campus, the Office of Training, Development and Service Excellence has been planning a celebration. It take place on June 19 from 2 to 4 p.m. on the Atheneum Patio. I highly encourage all employees to attend this event to celebrate all you have accomplished over the last five years.

A few highlights you can expect at the event include:

* Food from the popular Road Rooster food wagon.

* There will be a competition to see which department has the most school spirit. Gather your department and come dressed in the most teal that you can find.

* There will be a trivia contest in which your knowledge of Coastal Carolina University will be tested. Get your team together, and come prepared to take home the trophy.

* There will even be teal cake and ice cream for you to enjoy.  

It is guaranteed that there will be something for everyone, and I hope to see you there!
