Coastal Carolina Athletics renews partnership with Tidelands Health

Coastal Carolina University’s Department of Athletics is pleased to announce the renewal of its partnership with Tidelands Health as “The Official Health System of the CCU Chanticleers.” The new three-year agreement demonstrates a renewed and powerful commitment to Chanticleer athletics and the 450 student-athletes participating over 19 sports.

As the region’s largest health care provider, Tidelands Health plays a significant role in the health and well-being of this great area. With more than 2,000 employees, physicians and volunteer partners, Tidelands Health works side-by-side with its patients to transform the health of our region -- promoting wellness, preventing illness, encouraging recovery and restoring health.

“Tidelands Health is proud to continue our support of Coastal Carolina University athletics. As the official health system of the CCU Chanticleers, we’re honored to back these amazing student-athletes who represent their school and our region so well. We know physical activity is an important part of a healthy lifestyle, and the Chants are outstanding wellness role models for our entire community,” stated Amy Stevens, Vice President, Marketing and Communications for Tidelands Health.

The renewed sponsorship agreement includes activation through title sponsorship of the Chanticleer Sports Network, radio, TV, in-stadium signage, in-game promotions and more. Members of Tidelands Health’s program for adults 50 years of age and older, Better for Life, also enjoy benefits through CCU Athletics in the form of discounted single game tickets for football, men’s and women’s basketball, and baseball contests.

CCU’s Director of Athletics Matt Hogue is equally enthusiastic about the renewed partnership. “We are excited and grateful for the continued support from Tidelands Health. Their commitment to our student-athletes has been transformative and has played a vital role in helping our programs reach their championship potential on and off the field.”
