Video: More than 250 students join Teal Nation for Spring Orientation

It's the middle of the academic year, but still the spring semester brings new students to Coastal Carolina University. The University welcomed about 250 new students in a day-long Orientation session on Jan. 11, 2019, hosted by New Student and Family Programs.

The Orientation, a condensed version of Summer Orientation, provides the means by which new members of Teal Nation can become comfortable and settle into their new surroundings. It also provides connections and information about navigating the campus.

"The goal of today is to make sure the new students know everything they need to know about the University," said Susannah Marshman, director of New Student and Family Programs.
