Dalton and Linda Floyd Family Mentoring's TEAL Youth Day

On Thursday, April 11, 2019, the Dalton and Linda Floyd Family Mentoring Program hosted the spring TEAL (Talking Education and Learning) Youth Day. More than 150 children from Horry County Schools and 128 CCU students participated in this event.

This event could not happen without the assistance and involvement of a variety of people. The Biddle Center for Teaching, Learning, and Community Engagement extends a huge thank you to all faculty and staff that encouraged students to mentor through their classes or various clubs and organizations.

In particular, the center would like to thank the following persons and groups for their involvement in planning and participating in the day:

• Health Care Partners of South Carolina
• CCU Teaching Fellows
• Christina Olivo with Each 1 Teach 1
• Sandra Nelson and the PETE Club
• Chauncey and the Office of Admissions and Merit Awards
• The O-Team
