Former CCU faculty member to lead CUR

Mary Crowe, a tenured faculty member at Coastal Carolina University from 1994-2004, has been elected president-elect of the Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR) for the 2011-2012 year.

She is currently director of the Office of Undergraduate Research at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She earned a bachelor's degree from Eureka College and a master's and Ph.D. from Northern Illinois University, all in biology.
