Whalen to conduct summer program in London

Philip Whalen has been invited in the capacity of "Visiting Scholar" by the University of London's School of Oriental and African Studies to host a three-week "Empires in World History" summer program for American students studying at the University of London and residing in the Bloomsbury area, a district famous for its Georgian architecture and museums. The program will showcase guest lectures from the University of London's faculty and include a weekend trip to Paris and Versailles.
