Instructional Designer joins TEAL Center

Jacob Bane is a new instructional designer in the TEAL Center in Kimbel Library. He earned a bachelor's degree in middle grade education with a dual emphasis in social studies and language arts, and he taught seventh-grade English in Montgomery County, Ky., before pursuing his master's degree.

Bane earned a master's degree in educational foundations and leadership with a specialization in instructional technology and with a certificate in eLearning from the University in Akron, Ohio.

Bane is a certified Quality Matters peer reviewer and will be working closely with the Quality Matters Program at Coastal. He was previousy a graduate assistant with the University of Akron's Design and Development Services.
