ITS staffers win major award

Justin Essary from the Office of ITS and Holly Legg from the Office of Institutional Research won the inaugural 2011 Grand Strand Leadership and Innovation Award for Technology Advancement for their key roles in the development, implementation and maintenance of the TEAL Online system for the University. 

Essary is a web applications programmer in Information Technology Services, and Legg is assessment coordinator in Institutional Research, Assessment & Analysis.

TEAL Online is a comprehensive repository system for collecting assessment data, establishing information autoflow and generating reflective reports. This complex web-based enterprise-class application was designed through the collaborative efforts among several Coastal Carolina University departments, Institutional Research and ITS. The award is sponsored by the Grand Strand Technology Council.
