Green grants available now

The Coastal Carolina University Green Fund is currently accepting applications for 2012 grants.

Supported by the Student Government Association and the Campus and Community Sustainability Initiative, the Green Fund provides up to $3,000 for students and student groups who have ideas for green projects and activities around campus. Whether it is self-sufficient charging stations for electronics, additional water refill stations or anything else that promotes sustainability, the Fund seeks applicants who want to make CCU an environmentally friendly university.

“We would like to get more students involved,” said Jennifer Sellers, sustainability coordinator at CCU. “There’s money out there…why not take advantage of it?”
