Time to nominate outstanding students

Dear Coastal Carolina University Community,

As the school year is quickly coming to a close, we invite you to reflect on the successes of our student organizations, programming and leaders by nominating them in one (or more) of the 16 categories of Student Involvement and Leadership Awards and six additional categories of Fraternity and Sorority Life Awards (listed below).

All nominations must be typed and submitted by Thursday, March 22, at 5 p.m. to the Office of Student Activities and Leadership. Individuals who are nominated must submit their resume to complete their nomination by Thursday, March 29 at 5 p.m. You may nominate yourself or others. You may also nominate an event that has not occurred yet. Events occurring after the March 22 deadline are eligible for either the 2011-2012 or 2012-2013 awards.

All are invited to attend the 2011-2012 Student Involvement and Leadership Awards Ceremony on Monday, April 23 in Wheelwright Auditorium at 7 p.m. (free, but ticketed). A reception will follow in Spadoni Park. Those nominated will be notified and receive special invitations to attend the ceremony.

Contact the Office of Student Activities and Leadership at 843-349-2301 or tyger@coastal.edu with any questions.
