McCormick inducted into CUA Hall of Fame

Tim McCormick was inducted into the Catholic University of America’s Athletic Hall of Fame (Baseball) on Jan. 16. As a three-year conference all-star and two-year team captain and MVP, McCormick led the 1977 CUA Cardinals to an East Coast Athletic Conference (ECAC) title and a third place finish in the 1977 NCAA Division I North Eastern Regional Championships. Tim was hired by Catholic University immediately upon graduating as the youngest NCAA Division I head coach in the nation and lead CU to two ECAC championship appearances in three years.

McCormick has been at CCU since 1993 and has served as director of admissions, director of admissions technology and now director of enrollment planning.
