Elise Testone has new album out

Elise Testone, Coastal Carolina University alumna and "American Idol" winner (sixth place) has a debut album out. "In This Life" was released Feb. 11 and was preceded by her first music video.

"In This Life" encompasses blues, rock, soul, jazz, pop, Americana and funk, but is wrapped up with a strong, cohesive blues feeling. She wrote and produced the majority of the songs, as well as singing them and playing the music.

Testone will perform for CCU student, faculty and staff on Friday, April 25, in Wheelwright Auditorium. Tickets go on sale March 6. Elite tickets will offer premium seating, a meet-and-greet with Testone and a copy of her album; VIP tickets are $25 for premium seating; general admission is $20, and student tikets are $10 until April 11.
