CCU alumna marries

Corrie Lee Lacey and PFC Logan Michael Kohlrus were married July 18, 2014, in Outer Banks, N.C., during an oceanfront ceremony at sunset in front of family.

The bride graduated magna cum laude from CCU with a bachelor’s degree in communication in 2012. She earned a master’s degree from the City University of New York Graduate School of Journalism. She is employed as a reporter for The Central Virginian.

Lacey was editor of The Chanticleer student newspaper 2010-2011.

The groom is on active duty in the United States Marine Corps. He is currently stationed at Camp Pendleton near San Diego, Calif., where he is completing Marine Combat Training. The groom will attend Aircraft Rescue MOS school in Texas.
