CCU celebrates homecoming winners
Hannah Eades and O’Shay Scott are the new Coastal Carolina University royalty.
Eades, a junior communication and sports management major from St. Louis, Mo., was crowned Homecoming queen, and Scott, a senior political science student from Rock Hill, was crowned Homecoming king during the halftime activities of the Chanticleer-Bucaneers clash. (CCU won 43-22 over Charleston Southern University.)
Eades is a member of Gammi Phi Beta sorority and serves as the Panellenic president. She is also a student assistant in the office of Career Services. Scott is the president of Kappa Alpha Psi, and the president of the National Pan-Hellenic Council for CCU. He is a student assistant for the office of Student Life and Family Programs.

Phi Sigma Sigma in first place in the Greek Category and Alpha Delta Pi in second place; NAACP in first place in the organization category and Teal Temptations in second; Grand Strange Community in first place in the Housing Category and Wood Community in second.
Office decorating: First place went to the Office of Financial Aid.
In the banner competition, STAR & Colleges Against Cancer won first place.
Paint the Town Teal: Phi Sigma Sigma won first place.
Talent Show: Gamma Phi Beta with Club Rugby, Teal Temptations and individual Taylor O’Hara win first place in the talent show.
Most Spirited Tailgate: Phi Sigma Sigma won first.
Coastal Can-Struct: Sigma Phi Epsilon and Alpha Xi Delta won first place.
Golf Cart Parade: Sigma Sigma Sigma won first place.
