The Betsches tie the knot

David Betsch and April Sager were married on Sept. 13 at the Postcard Inn on St. Pete Beach, Fla. "We starting dating while we both worked at the University of South Florida in Tampa, and he proposed to me at USF in the Student Union," says April.

April, who is coordinator of CHANT411, earned an undergraduate degree at the University of South Florida and then a master’s degree at the University of West Florida. Her background is in university housing, and she worked at the University of Alabama, Florida Southern College and, most recently, University of South Florida.

“After David and I got engaged, I started looking for job opportunities and, while there were a few job openings I was qualified for, nothing really peaked my interest until I read about this new position, working with the president to create a new service for students.”

“I am very passionate about giving and receiving good customer service and knew that this was something I could sink my teeth into. In February, I will have been here for two years, and I am proud of what I have been able to do at CCU.”
