President recovering from surgery

CCU President David A. DeCenzo is recovering from hip replacement surgery on March 16.

The surgery was the result of an injury some 47 years ago, which turned into arthritis in his right hip.

Until his return, the presidential and signature authority was transferred to Ralph Byington, Ph.D., executive vice-president and provost.

“It is my hope that I will be back full-time at Coastal about mid-April,” said DeCenzo.

You can send get-well cards and wishes to Dr. DeCenzo through Jennifer Packard, senior administrative coordinator, Office of the President, Atheneum Hall 101C.
