Feel the Teal Celebration and Congratulations

Congratulations to the 262 employees who have attended the Feel the Teal Celebration, the eighth and final training module of the Feel the Teal Service Excellence Initiative. The Feel the Teal Celebration is a chance for all the employees and departments who have attended the previous seven modules to celebrate this accomplishment and have lunch together. Each participant receives a Feel the Teal Certificate of Completion, as well as a Feel the Teal® ,gift item of the employee’s choice.

These 262 staff and faculty members who have completed the eight Feel the Teal training modules have led the way as we enhance our service culture here at CCU. Campus visitors, alumni and potential families have shared their positive campus experiences with me, and I thoroughly enjoy hearing that more people are “feeling the teal.” I am grateful to these employee leaders who have embraced the concept of service excellence and, in doing so, have created unique and meaningful connections with our “customers.”

This Feel the Teal module is a celebration rather fitting of the recent 2016 graduation season. I would also like to celebrate and congratulate all of our employees who contribute in different yet meaningful ways across our campus to see the University mission fulfilled of developing students who are knowledgeable in their chosen fields and prepared to be productive, responsible, healthy citizens with a global perspective.

Our employees make this possible. It is with deep gratitude that I applaud our faculty and staff for all they do so we can continue to Feel the Teal!
